Use your contactless payment card like a ticket!

The new payment system is active on all local public service buses and allows you to travel directly with:

  • your credit/debit card (MasterCard and Visa circuits)
  • a contactless prepaid card
  • a digitised card on NFC-enabled devices (smartphones and wearable devices)
HOW PAYMENT WORKS
  • The system automatically recognises the correct fare in relation to the line used:
    • suburban: validation uphill and downhill
    • urban: validation uphill only and up to 4 people with the same contactless card
  • Simply swipe your contactless payment card or a digitised card on NFC-enabled devices (smartphones and wearable devices) – MasterCard and Visa circuits only.
  • Please note that on suburban lines you must also bring your card close to you at the end of your journey, when alighting.
